Line Car

[ linecar1.jpg ] This picture was taken after the truck was repainted. It is sitting in Carrol Park, on the other side of the street from the Baltimore Transit Company Carrol Park shops.
[ linecar2.jpg ] BSM's homemade line car is seen at the 28th Street Loop with the line crew performing wire adjustments. Open car 1164 is the tow vehicle. Crew member John LaCosta.
[ linecar3.jpg ] Line Truck 501 at the North Avenue Loop demonstrating the how the line crew could perform wire work without interfering with regular streetcar service. The platform is raised to the proper level and swung over the track to allow access to the wire. The platform is high enough to clear the revenue cars as the pass by the line truck.
